Nestled away from the hustle of city life, the Krone presents itself as a basic yet comfortable choice for families. Our room was generous, featuring a balcony that beckoned for evening relaxation. The hotel offers a pool and sauna, though we didn't take advantage of them this time. Breakfast was an open buffet-but let's be honest, it was decent, not memorable. What stood out was the warm hospitality and attentive staff, especially with our 2-year-old son. The service was commendable, which added value to our experience. Location-wise, it's a 20-minute drive to Meersburg, where you can catch a ship to Konstanz. While the hotel carries quite a basic vibe, it's clean and spacious-much needed for a family. Reasonable pricing for a family getaway, especially considering the excellent service and sizeable rooms. Don't expect it to rival luxury 4-star standards.
