Nestled away from the hustle of city life, the Krone presents itself as a basic yet comfortable choice for families. Our room was generous, featuring a balcony that beckoned for evening relaxation. The hotel offers a pool and sauna, though we didn't take advantage of them this time. Breakfast was an open buffet—but let’s be honest, it was decent, not memorable. What stood out was the warm hospitality and attentive staff, especially with our 2-year-old son. The service was commendable, which added value to our experience. Location-wise, it's a 20-minute drive to Meersburg, where you can catch a ship to Konstanz. While the hotel carries quite a basic vibe, it’s clean and spacious—much needed for a family. Reasonable pricing for a family getaway, especially considering the excellent service and sizeable rooms. Don't expect it to rival luxury 4-star standards.
